If you really want to know what was said at the 'informal meeting'...

...it would seem our friend the freedom of information request will be required to winkle out what was said.

I bet they've been sending lots of 'informal emails' to each other confirming what was said and actions to be done?

If anyone would like to help could you send off the following request and let us know what they give you? Thanks

  1. As a happy dog walker who uses the Bryn i have meet some of the main leaders of the protest who want to kee the Bryn as its it. My only chritisism is that they were quiet happy to let their dogs poop and not pick it up. I asked one why and they said it was far more "green" to let it rot there.
Arnt they shooting themselves in the footI love walking my dog on the Bryn but we have to be aware and respect others. Pick up the poo and to small children our freindly pooches can be a bit intimidating , so if i hear a group of youngsters i try to get my hound on his leash as a matter of course

  2. If you know if someone doing this then report them to the council, details below, as dog fouling certainly isn’t condoned by those trying to Save the Bryn. Responsible owners do clear up, and like you, keep there dogs under control when kids are about.

    Dog Fouling

We are concerned about dog fouling on footpaths and open land.

All dog owners who allow their dogs to foul should clear up afterwards.

The Authority has many dog bins in parks and around the Borough.

Dog Wardens patrol the street to seize stray dogs.

There are “no fouling” signs throughout the borough to remind dog owners to clean up after their dogs.

We will issue a £75.00 fixed penalty notices to dog owners who do not clear up after their dogs, should they foul. It is not an excuse if your dog fouls whilst it is straying. Persistent offenders can be fined up to £1,000.
